I have kept a notebook for as long as I could remember. In my notebook is everything; drawings, journal entries, lists, notes from classes, visions, dreams, secrets, observations.. I don’t keep these things separate. All the information and experiences documented feed into each other and inform my life, whether seemingly connected or not.
Here are scenes form my most recent sketchbook. What’s not pictured is a lot more writing that will remain in the privacy of the bound pages. Looking back at all that I’ve collected always reinspires me and keeps the fire of my own artistry lit. I hope in sharing, I can provide that for you as well.
